* Deputy Program Manager - Crane, IN

Description
AAC is looking to fill a position for a Deputy Program Manager, located in Crane, IN.

The DPM will be assigned, full-time, to a major Government Training Support Services and Deployment Program. The DPM will be responsible to assist the Program Manager for the overall contract, providing oversight and coordinating the activities of prime contractor and subcontractor personnel, allocate resources and set schedules to accomplish program objectives, participate in program reviews and readjusts resources and schedules to accomplish programs, as necessary, plans and adjusts work operations to meet changing and/or emerging program requirements using available resources with minimal impact on work quality or quantity.

Responsibilities
• Providing and managing qualified personnel to staff the Contract
• Establish and implementing a program organization and proven management practices and procedures to ensure effective support that satisfies the government requirements by providing qualified personnel, ensuring personnel are trained and retained, and providing the resolution of resource conflicts

• Serving as the primary point of contact to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for program status, reporting and support
• Collaborate with the COR and being responsible for integrating data, policies, procedures, reporting tools, and contract deliverables
• Coordinate and delivering formal program reviews as directed by the COR
• Participate as a leadership team member in developing, implementing, and monitoring contract business objectives and strategic initiatives
• Strong communication skills; both written and oral Preferred Requirements
• OCONUS Military experience.

Requirements
• U.S. Citizen
• Secret Level clearance
• 2 years of Unix systems administration
• PMP Certification
• Federal goverment contracting experience

Additional Desired Skills
• Effective interfacing and dialogue with customers
• Effective written and oral communication
• Working knowledge of US Army OCONUS deployment Operations
• Effective utilization of Microsoft Application Tools
• Experience Project Planning and process improvement mythologies


Education
Bachelor's Degree or above in management or a technical discipline and at least five years' experience as a Program Manager for Range Operation and Training programs of which at least 3 years must be in a leadership role. Experience must be with programs of similar size, complexity, and scope and include subcontractor management.

Salary
Commensurate with experience

Security Clearance
Selected candidate requires a Secret Level clearance
