About Systems Engineering
Effective sustainment of weapon systems begins with the design and development of reliable and maintainable systems through the continuous application of a robust systems engineering methodology. Now more than ever, the DoD recognizes the importance of the systems engineering approach to achieving an integrated, balanced system solution that optimizes total system performance and minimizes total ownership costs. All programs now require a Systems Engineering Plan (SEP), integrated with the Acquisition Strategy, as part of each Milestone Review. The SEP must describe the program's overall technical approach, including processes, resources, metrics, and applicable performance incentives. It must also detail the timing, conduct, and success criteria of technical reviews.
AAC Systems Engineering Capabilities
AAC systems engineers are all seasoned experts with both a solid educational background and an average of over 25 years of experience with government programs. Our SEs will help you address and integrate your program’s capability needs, design considerations, design constraints, and technology constraints. AAC SE’s can help you navigate the complex JCIDS, Acquisition, and PPB&E systems. AAC systems engineers are available to support any and all phases of the Defense Systems Acquisition System.
