The Process of Change – Overview
Business Strategy
Business Strategies define specifically how the organization will accomplish its mission. As such, business strategies provide the overall framework for the organization’s structure, programs, and approach to the market.
Business Strategies seek to leverage the organization’s competitive advantages in order to fulfill market needs, turn a profit, and otherwise meet stakeholder expectations.

Enterprise Architecture
Enterprise architecting is the overall process whereby a conceptual blueprint is designed to define the structure and operation of an organization so that it can effectively achieve its mission and objectives, both now and in the future. The process incorporates the organization’s reason for existence (mission, charter, and objectives). It then builds a framework for an enterprise architecture that will best fulfill the organization’s business strategy.
And be sure of one thing. The business environment you are in today will be different tomorrow. Therefore, you’re not just looking for a one-time “quick fix.” Rather, you need an enterprise architecture that can bend without breaking; an agile organization that can adapt as technology, the competitive landscape, and regulations, change.
